Sometimes, a glittering professional's career hides the most piteous stories underneath. Lolo has achieved her present place of prominence after years of hard work and perseverance. Jones, who was born into a family of no mothers with five children who lived in the midst of poverty and struggle when she was a kid, endured an incredibly difficult childhood. Her mother was constantly moving and stayed for a while in the basement of the church. The sporadic lifestyle forced Jones to attend a new school every year up until her first day of in high school. Brandt, discovered by local casting agencies, got the lead role as Naevia on the Starz blockbuster Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a young hostage and was later featured on the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
